British Comedy Chosen for March 4 Center Stage
Please join Island Players on Saturday, March 4, at 2pm for a one act play reading in the Mosling Room at the Washington Island Rec Center.
The featured work is The Real Inspector Hound, a one act comedy by contemporary playwright Sir Tom Stoppard, first performed in 1968.
Stoppard is known for his slightly absurd plots and witty dialogue and this will mark the first time Island Players has performed one of his works. The plot hinges on two theater critics who get drawn into the first night performance of a country house whodunnit.
Refreshments will be served. Free will donation.
